I am Diarmuid (Phonetically spelt: Dear mid. That’s our first Irish lesson!!) founder of O'Malley Private Tours. We are a professional chauffeur service based in Killarney one of Ireland’s most loved and visited destinations and specialize in private luxury tours for visitors who want to experience Ireland in a relaxed, personal, and authentic way.
After qualifying as a chauffeur in early 2025, I spent the season doing something I genuinely love- hosting guests from the US and beyond as they explored Ireland’s landscapes, golf courses, and hidden corners. That first season exceeded every expectation not just because of the places we visited, but because of the people I had the pleasure of welcoming hence turning my passion into O'Malley Private Tours where we have a team of dedicated chauffeurs and drivers who share the same professionalism and love for the journey as I do.
Many of our guests are now people I stay in touch with regularly, including friends in Carolina, Texas, Germany and further afield. We follow each other’s sporting teams, stay connected, and share stories: a reflection, I hope, of the genuine connection that comes from being hosted, rather than simply driven.
